BACKED BY SCIENCE!
Scientists studied this burial cloth of Christ which has a faint image of the front and back of His Body. They are truly amazed.
In 1898, soon after photography was discovered, it was photographed for the first time and the negative revealed the extraordinary: the positive image of Christ – with incredible detail showing the crowning with thorns, the piercing of the wrists, the scourging, the blood, etc – both front and back! In 1978 scientists studied it and they found no evidence of paint or stains. A person would have had to have painted the image in negative. Furthermore, using a NASA IMAGE ANALYSER meant for astronomy, it produced a 3D image! No photo or painting can do this!!!
There were attempts by some to declare it a fake in the media at the end of last century after Carbon dating. However it was later discovered that bacteria & linen repairs on the edges of the shroud were responsible for that error. Hence, the burial cloth of Christ which is stored in the Vatican, is PHOTOGRAPHIC PROOF OF BOTH THE CRUCIFIXION AND THE RESURRECTION of Christ! Only light from a resurrection could have produced it. See the artist impression at the top-left of this page. In 1936 a beautiful painting was made of the Face of Christ from the Shroud by artist Agemian.
Some are now claiming that somehow photography was discovered 650 years ago and it was forged. They ignore all the scientific evidence including pollen and flowers tracing it back to Palestine, but most importantly the fact that historic evidence proves that it existed well before the middle ages and as far back as the time of Christ’s death. See the youtube videos below for the scientific details.
